What is Aghori's purpose?

These saints are active in post-death rites and cremation activities, including all post-mortem rituals. Understand that there are five types of meat in our culture called Maha Manas. These include fish, pigs, crows, vultures, and humans. An Aghori is expected to eat each of these delicious meats at least once in his life. Second, if during a ceremony one of the Aghoris of a group offers something to the other participants, they must eat it. It can be almost anything, including human flesh. That's right.

The distinction between Aghori baba and Naga Sadhu

Naga sadhus typically wander around naked, whereas Aghori Baba typically uses an animal skin robe or another type of material to cover their lower body. Aghoris perform post-mortem rites. Naga sadhus are mostly seen at Kumbhmelas or in their Akharas. However, Aghori Baba does not appear to be present. They only exist in crematoria. It is also believed that they meditate on corpses to signify their transformation from 'corpse' to 'Aghori,' carrying out their penance in three ways: cremation practice, cremation meditation, and Shiva Sadhana. This religion is also known as 'Ogharapanth.'
